Biography

Dr Steven Ross is a Senior formulation scientist at southern UK based CDMO Custom Pharma Services, where he conducts research into crystallization screening techniques and continuous manufacturing processes for the development of multi-component crystalline drugs. He was born in Ashford, Kent and attended the University of Greenwich where he obtained his BSc in Biomedical Science, and later his earned his PhD working on continuous cocrystal manufacture via Hot-Melt Extrusion, in collaboration with Pfizer. Stevens research predominantly revolves around developing methods of processing multi-component crystalline drugs via continuous manufacture, the development of novel computational and experimental crystalline drugs screening methods, development, and manufacture of solid dispersions, as well as expertise in most common drug characterization techniques.
