Biography

Dr Steven Ross is a Senior formulation scientist at south UK-based CDMO Custom Pharma Services. Steven attended the University of Greenwich where he obtained his BSc in Biomedical Science and later earned his Ph.D. working on continuous cocrystal manufacture via Hot-Melt Extrusion. His work predominantly revolves around developing methods of Cocrystal and Salt processing with a focus on continuous manufacture and overcoming reported disadvantages to current processes, the development of novel computational and experimental screening methods for crystalline drugs, as well as common tableting and encapsulation processes, solid dispersion development and drug characterization techniques. Steven has published over 20 research articles, 2 book chapters, and has delivered numerous podium presentations at conferences focused on his research area.
