Biography
Hamid is an Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management at WMG, University of Warwick. He is the Course Director for the part-time Supply Chain Leadership programme, an executive development degree tailor-made to the needs of partner companies in the pharmaceutical sector, including GSK and AstraZeneca. Hamid’s research focuses on investigating the resilience of supply chains through manufacturing location decisions and the impacts of external factors including new generation of technologies, geopolitical tensions, and sustainability on location decisions. Hamid has a track record of providing training for UK policymakers, such as the Cabinet Office and the Department for Business and Trade.
