Biography

Emile Glorieux is a senior research engineer at the MTC – Manufacturing Technology Centre, spearheading the cross-functional virtual factory team, working on cutting edge digital solutions for manufacturing, focussing on Industry 4.0, digital twins, computational intelligence, and multi-disciplinary optimisation. Prior to joining the MTC, he was at WMG, University of Warwick, undertaking research on digital lifecycle management. He has authored over a dozen articles published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He has won academic awards from University West and the University of Warwick. He earned his PhD degree on the topic of production technology from University West in Trollhättan, Sweden.
