Kitt Medical has transformed how emergency adrenaline auto-injectors (AAIs) are distributed and maintained across the UK through a subscription-based, proactive supply model introduced in February 2023. Unlike the traditional reactive purchasing model — where schools and qualifying businesses often receive pens with only 7–10 months’ shelf life — we work directly with manufacturers using long-term forecasting to guarantee 12+ months’ expiry on every pen, automated replenishment before expiry or use, and consistent stock availability. This reduces waste, removes administrative burden, and improves cost-efficiency while ensuring emergency preparedness. Our online portal provides real-time medication tracking and staff training management to maintain compliance. Since launch and appearing on BBC Dragons’ Den, we’ve deployed 2,000+ Anaphylaxis Kitts, trained 40,000+ people, and supported 30 life-saving interventions nationwide.
