Biography

Jane is currently the Vice Chair and Membership Secretary of the Pharmaceutical Quality Group (PQG).  Jane joined the PQG in 1991 as a member of the Supplier Partners Team working on the application standards for Pharmaceutical suppliers.  She was elected to the PQG Committee in 2008 as the Events Co-ordinator, a post she held for 6 years, arranging and publicising the various PQG Events each year.  In 2014 she moved to the role of Membership Secretary and in 2018 was elected as Vice Chair and Chair elect of the Committee.

Jane has worked in Pharmaceutical Quality for over 30 years in various technical and managerial roles including Site Quality Director.  She has had responsibility for the manufacture, packaging & supply of a wide range of dose forms, including Steriles and IMPs.  She also performed Pharmaceutical Supplier auditing for several years in the UK, US & Europe.

Jane currently works at GSK where she is a member of the Quality Brexit group.  Previous roles at GSK include global Risk Management responsibilities, Quality Management of several CMO sites in Europe and Quality site support at GSK dry product & topicals and API sites.

Jane is a Chartered Chemist, Chartered Scientist and a Pharmaceutical Lead Auditor.
