Biography

Dr Mark Cresswell is responsible for the development of new inorganic-based materials for healthcare applications. His work covers the full product/material development cycle: design, preparation, analysis and critical evaluation. Mark is particularly interested in the use of glass and glass-ceramic materials for controlled release applications.

Mark has a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Keele University. He also has an MChem in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Manchester. His background in organic chemistry allows him to carry out research into inorganic-organic hybrid composite materials.

Mark is co-author on 3 patents (pending) to date.
