Biography

Ben Leeming is a Research Scientist at CrystecPharma, whose PhD background is “Engineering Photochromic Multi-Component Organic Crystals”. His work focused on the development of rational co-crystal synthesis to maintain and alter a photochromic response within a series of analogous multi-component organic materials. Ben adds his expertise to a world-leading team which includes Prof. Peter York and Dr Lyn Daintree; experts in the field of pharmaceutical particle engineering. Since working with Crystec, Ben has turned his attention to solving challenges of pharmaceutical development by applying supercritical fluid technologies to generate scaleable, high-performance pharmaceutical co-crystals. He is currently coordinating an international team with a primary focus in this area.
