Biography

Andrew has a background in environmental monitoring and management, with a PhD in microbiology and environmental science. He has worked in a variety of industries, but moved into the pharmaceutical industry when he joined AstraZeneca 7 years ago. In that time, he has worked in various roles, spanning production, HSE, sustainability and Quality Control IT systems. For the last few years, Andrew has focused on creating a culture of proactive Safety and sustainability across the organisation’s lab spaces, running AZ’s Green Lab initiative across the enterprise.
