Biography

After a career in pharmaceutical process development and as a parallel import regulatory affairs manager, David joined the Medicines and Healthcare Products Agency (MHRA) as manager of the Parallel Import Unit. During his 15 years with MHRA David introduced many process improvements to reduce assessment times and was responsible for all changes to the parallel import scheme resulting from Brexit. On retiring from MHRA at the start of 2022 David took up the invitation to become a consultant to the trade association (BAEPD). He has produced a very comprehensive set of training documents which are also available to non-BAEPD member companies.
