Biography

I’m Mr Aswin Mani James working as the Project Director for GMP Healthcare Ltd with more than 10 years of industry experience, a committed and proven projects director with excellent hands-on projects management, technical and quality experience. Im currently a key role player in the board of directors planning the business strategies for the GMP group of companies. I manage a dynamic and highly professional consultant team who are integral part of the client projects. A skilled shaper to optimise team capabilities, continuously improving processes and systems to streamline the business and achieve the desired efficiency.

Im a Bioinformatics Btech graduate from VIT University, India. I have 10 years of experience in the various areas of the pharmaceutical industry in the UK. Im also pursuing an Executive MBA from University of Hull to enhance the skillset.

I started my career as a management trainee in a Indian based medical device manufacturing company. My UK career began in the year of 2012 as a Quality Associate in the pharmaceutical industry. I worked in various roles such as validation engineer, Quality Officer, technical manager, technologoy transfer project lead, quality projects lead, business development manager and so on. I have undergone the PRINCE2 training in the project management and implemented an effective and robust project management system for GMP Healthcare.

My experience in the pharmaceutical consultancy given me an opportunity to work with national and international clients in various quality and technical projects. I was part of various pharmaceutical exhibitions representing GMPH. I have led the business development team for 2 years and planned the marketing strategies, maintained the client relationship, created the tools and systems in place to monitor the business growth. Along with the project director role I’m also leading the Technical & Engineering operations for GMP Manufacturing Ltd. In this role, I manage engineering and technical departments to deliver the best for our contract manufacturing site.
