Synopsis

Electrospraying parameters play important role in production of nanomaterial but the molecular weight of polymer and solvent have significant effect on production of particles. PVP 360 and PCL 45 both were producing fibres. Low molecular weight PVP (10 & 40) have fewer entanglements, that’s why we got fibre-free particles from it. Low molecular weight PVP successfully gave nanoparticles less than 100nm, but formulation of PCL (10-14) nanoparticles remained a challenge and there were problems identifying the presence of PCL in the particles made.
