Managing the Human Factor

Time: 9:35 am - 9:55 am

Date: 29 April 2020

Synopsis

It’s an uncomfortable truth that people are generally the least hygienic thing in a cleanroom.

Humans are living germ factories, walking microbial disaster zones. Unlike bacteria, we are also unpredictable, whether that’s distracted, rushed, or even wilfully negligent.

In this session, Sue Springett, commercial manager at Teknomek, would explain how businesses can reduce the risk factor – as far as is humanly possible! She would address:

• Preventative measures that make it harder to avoid good hygiene than uphold it
• Techniques to overtly and subliminally reinforce best practice, including work flows and nudge theory
