Leading International Teams
Time: 3:45 pm - 4:05 pm
Date: 28 April 2020
Working in a global organisation and leading international teams can be challenging: juggling time zone differences; understanding different communication style and cultural differences; managing well-being and also ensuring the job gets done effectively. In this presentation we consider the practicalities of leading virtual/remote teams effectively and how this differs from leading co-located teams; how to develop a sense of “team” by understanding the roles played by routine, rhythm, respect and ritual (the 4 R’s) in order to foster collaboration and effective communication. You will discover tools, practical suggestions and insights you can implement immediately within your teams.
