Liz’s remarkable career demonstrates unwavering commitment to patient safety, regulatory excellence, and the advancement of pharmaceutical quality. Her leadership, integrity, and passion have influenced professionals and organisations across the NHS, MHRA, and global industry.
Liz began her journey with 12 years in NHS Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, where she strengthened GMP compliance, improved the safety of manufactured and prepared medicines, contributed to national quality guidelines, and trained and mentored pharmacists and technicians to uphold the highest standards.
She then dedicated 19 years as an MHRA Regulatory GMP Inspector, ultimately managing the UK’s GMP inspection programme. During this time, she shaped EU and PIC/S regulatory frameworks, contributed to key legislative updates, conducted global inspections, and provided essential guidance that elevated quality systems across industry and healthcare.
Over the last 22 years in consultancy, Liz has mentored QPs, delivered extensive audits, co created the world’s first GMP Lead Auditor accreditation, and co founded EPiC, building a respected pharmaceutical consultancy of former Regulatory inspectors and industry experts driven by expertise, ethics, passion and patient‑centred values.
