Enter the Pharmaceuticals Excellence Awards 2025
The Making Pharmaceuticals & Distributing Pharmaceuticals Awards are back, with five categories judged by a panel of industry experts recognising the best in innovation and sustainability.
If you are a manufacturer or distributor who has pushed the envelope in either of those areas, we encourage you to enter!
There is no cost to enter an award, and no limit on the number of entries that can be submitted into an awards category by a company or individual. You do not need to be an exhibiting company at Making Pharmaceuticals or Distributing Pharmaceuticals to enter an award.
The deadline for Awards entries is 21 February 2025.
The Shortlist will be announced at the end of March, and the Awards will be announced at the Awards Dinner on 29 April at the Coventry Building Society Arena. This year’s dinner will be hosted by Hal Cruttenden

Innovation in Manufacture
Is your company doing things differently – with flair and imagination? What are the innovative processes that make you stand out from your competitors? Do you use to deliver high quality product?
Entries to this award should demonstrate the use of innovation in any stage of product manufacture, whether it be formulation, quality control, safety assessment, process technology or packaging. This can include adapting or integrating an already existing solution. Please indicate the date that the initiative was introduced in your company.
Innovation in Manufacture

This award recognises the use of sustainable practices in the pharmaceutical industry that improve the efficiency and sustainability of the pharmaceutical manufacture process at any and all of its stages.
This can also include sustainability initiatives recently employed within a company prioritising the needs of the wider environment and, resulting in carbon footprint reduction, waste minimisation or energy saving.
Entries to this award should demonstrate tangible environmental benefits achieved as a result of the new initiative, process or practice. Please indicate the date that the initiative was introduced in your company.
Sustainability in Manufacture

Outstanding Contribution Award
We invite nominations for individuals who are innovators, passionate leaders, and influencers driving meaningful, positive change. Nominations are welcome for individuals at all levels and across all functions, from drug discovery to distribution.
The individual should be nominated by their employer with a 200-word explanation of their achievements and reason for their nomination. This could include but is not limited to: inspiring and motivating others; integrity and accountability; work ethic and dedication; employee morale and well-being; innovation and technology use; demonstrating an impact on efficiency or productivity; enhancing the work environment for those around them; or effective decision making.
